Our Under 13 Girls get their first league win of the season!
Having gone up two leagues this season, our Under 13 girls have been battling and training hard so far this season, and this Sunday it all paid off with a superb 8-0 first league win of the season versus local rivals Lisvane Panthers! It was a battling game, but one filled with strength and quality from the North Cardiff Cosmos FC girls, resulting in SEVEN different players getting on the score sheet!
One of the coaches, Rob Meyers, said “The girls should be really proud of their performance on Sunday, not just for the result but the way they played. They have been building really well over the last few weeks in matches and training, focusing on communication, work-rate, and supporting each other across the pitch. They really nailed it today and got the rewards for their hard work and focusing on what they can control.”
Well done girls, and we look forward to seeing them build on this performance for the rest of the season!
