North Cardiff Cosmos FC’s Under 13 Girls have secured their place in the SWWGL U13 League Cup Trophy Final following a superb and hard-fought semi-final victory.
From the first whistle, the girls demonstrated relentless energy, strong communication and a real commitment to working for each other. Their defensive organisation and midfield discipline ensured the game remained finely balanced throughout, with both sides battling for control, and eventually going to penalties!
In the shootout, the composure shown by the players was outstanding. Each penalty was taken with confidence and precision, while our goalkeeper produced another excellent performance, helping guide the team through to victory.
While reaching the SWWGL U13 League Cup Trophy Final is a fantastic achievement in itself, the manner of the performance stood out most — a disciplined, determined display built on teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude throughout.
