Lest We Forget
This Remembrance Sunday, some of our teams were able to take a moment to honour and reflect on the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces.
While we come together on the field to play the sport we love, it’s important to remember that there are many who gave their lives to protect the freedoms we enjoy, including the opportunity to pursue our passions like football. Whether you’re a player, coach, or supporter, it’s a chance to reflect on the larger community we’re part of — one that is built on the dedication and sacrifice of others.
At North Cardiff Cosmos FC, we believe in building character, both as athletes and as responsible members of society. Remembrance Day reminds us to not only play with passion but to live with purpose, honouring the legacy of those who have fought for our freedom.
