U19 Women

Our Under 19 Women play in the FAW’s Genero Adran U19 League.  We are one of few U19’s teams that are an organic progression from U16’s and U17’s.  In fact, many of the players have been playing football together since 2016.  A time when Wales’s Men took on the might of Europe and made their way to centre stage, almost within touching distance of the silverware.  This was a time when Wales’s Women started to make a real mark on the international stage, creating a draw to a series of international matches with attendance records broken.  The international teams have inspired a generation, and this group of fantastic competitors have willingly taken on the role of inspiring younger players throughout the club and beyond.

This squad of 25 players is bolstered by the U17 players who are brought into the U19 team on a weekly basis.  Helping their development by enabling competition at the highest level available to NCCFC.

Renowned for friendliness, competitiveness and a focus on technical development, the group boasts numerous County and FAW South Caps, several Welsh Schools representatives, ten BGC Wales Caps and a very positive outlook for the future.

The U19 coaches, John Norman, Leon Millard and Claudio Vargas have a collective of 20-25 years experience in female football and all are inspired by players application and willingness to learn and develop.  An emphasis on technical development sees players flourish and gain competencies that will help them continue to play the game they love well into adulthood.
